Human Arrestin Beta 2 ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Arrestin Beta 2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay is built on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Arrestin Beta 2 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin reporter. TMB substrate is converted to a yellow product whose absorbance at 450 nm is read on a colorimetric microplate reader, and Arrestin Beta 2 concentration is determined against the standard curve.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of <6.4 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Average recovery across five replicates is reported as 91% for serum (range 83%–99%), 89% for EDTA plasma (range 80%–99%) and 90% for heparin plasma (range 82%–99%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
