Human Arginyl tRNA Synthetase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RARS in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for RARS. After sample addition, captured analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-RARS Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a stated sensitivity of <0.30 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Standards are prepared as a 1:2 dilution series from 50 ng/ml down to 0.781 ng/ml. Sample collection guidance covers serum, EDTA and heparin plasma, cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenates and cell lysates; total protein concentration per well should not exceed 0.3mg. Reported average recovery values across n=5 are 91% (range 80–102%) for serum, 90% (81–100%) for EDTA plasma, and 84% (80–89%) for heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated.
