Human Aquaporin 9 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Aquaporin 9 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format with a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Yellow colour intensity is proportional to Aquaporin 9 concentration and is calculated against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is less than 0.054 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Manufacturer-reported spike-and-recovery values are 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma, with sample sizes of n=5 for each matrix.
