Human Apoptotic Peptidase Activating Factor 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Apoptotic Peptidase Activating Factor 1 (APAF1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips: standards and samples are added to the wells, captured APAF1 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-APAF1 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and the enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate solution. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and APAF1 concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is <0.064 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m.
