Human Apolipoprotein O ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Apolipoprotein O in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised antibody specific for Apolipoprotein O, followed by a biotinylated anti-Apolipoprotein O detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm.

The kit has an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.073 ng/ml. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. The product is intended for research use only.
