Human Apolipoprotein B ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Apolipoprotein B in cell culture supernatant, serum, and plasma. The product range is 312.50 - 20000 pg/ml with a reported sensitivity of <74. pg/ml, and the kit shows no significant cross-reactivity while assaying both native and recombinant human Apo B.

The procedure uses a monoclonal capture antibody immobilised on microwells; standards or samples are incubated with a biotin-linked monoclonal detection antibody, then streptavidin-HRP. After washing, a substrate solution produces a signal proportional to bound Apo B, and the reaction is stopped by addition of acid before absorbance is read. Detection is colorimetric on a microplate platform, and the kit is stored at +4°C.
