Human Apolipoprotein A4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human APOA4/Apo-AIV in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with a biotinylated anti-APOA4/Apo-AIV detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, visualised via TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Manufacturer-reported performance characteristics include a product range of 4.68–300 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 1.7 ng/ml. Standard assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery in serum (n=5) is 80–102%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89%.
