Human Apolipoprotein A1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Apolipoprotein A I in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported product range is 25–1600 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 9 ng/ml. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=5), average recoveries were 91% in serum (range 80%–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81%–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80%–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 fell between 74% and 108% across the same sample types.
