Human Antithrombin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Antithrombin III (ATIII) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-ATIII detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported product range is 31.2–2000 ng/ml, sensitivity is 12.6 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or –20 °C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Reported spike-and-recovery across n=5 samples was 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–99% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity (n=5) over 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions gave overall ranges of 74%–107% for serum, 79%–108% for EDTA plasma, and 82%–105% for heparin plasma.
