Human anti-NMDAR Antibody ELISA Kit

A 4-hour sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Anti-NMDAR Antibody in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Reactivity is restricted to human samples. The assay demonstrates specificity for anti-NMDAR antibodies with no reported cross-reactivity to related analogs.

Standards and samples are added to wells pre-coated with assay-specific antigen, where the target antibody binds. After washing, a biotinylated antigen detection reagent is added, forming an antigen–antibody–antigen sandwich complex. Following further incubation and washing, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate are added; the enzymatic reaction produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and the antibody concentration is calculated against the standard curve. Detection is colorimetric.

The working range is 1.563–100 ng/mL with a sensitivity below 0.938 ng/mL. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 96%, range 86–102%), EDTA plasma (average 94%, range 89–105%), and heparin plasma (average 99%, range 89–103%), with dilution linearity reported at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 for each matrix. The kit is shipped at +4°C; components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and should not be used past the expiration date or subjected to freeze/thaw cycles.
