Human Anthrax Toxin Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Anthrax Toxin Receptor 2 (ANTXR2/CMG-2) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read as absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the supplied specifications, the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml and the sensitivity is <0.133 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. In sample validation studies, average recoveries of 91% in serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–101%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5) were reported, with linearity demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
