Human Annexin A9 ELISA Kit

An Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Annexin-9/ANXA9 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for Annexin-9/ANXA9; standards and samples are added, the bound analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Annexin-9/ANXA9 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and the signal is developed with TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against a standard curve.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Average recovery values reported are 91% for serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, n=5). The total assay time is 4h 30m and the platform is a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips.

Kit components include a lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers. The plate, standard, Detection Solutions A and B and Sample Dilution Buffer are stored at -20°C, while the Wash Buffer, TMB Substrate and Stop Solution are stored at +4°C. The kit should not be used past its expiration date.
