Human Annexin A6 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Annexin-6/ANXA6 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where Annexin-6/ANXA6 is captured by an immobilised antibody. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Annexin-6/ANXA6 Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader, and concentration is determined by reference to a standard curve.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml and a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. It is performed on a pre-coated microplate platform with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix), with average values of 91%, 90%, and 84% respectively. Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types. Kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as specified, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
