Human Annexin A5 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Annexin V/ANXA5 (also referenced as Annexin A5) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and employs a colourimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, following incubation with a biotinylated anti-Annexin V/ANXA5 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate.

Reported performance specifications include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.115 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery values in undiluted matrix were: serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Linearity of dilution across 1:2 to 1:16 in serum ranged from 74% to 107%, with EDTA plasma 79%–108% and heparin plasma 82%–105% depending on dilution. Supplied kit components include lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and adhesive plate sealers.

Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the kit insert, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
