Human Angiotensinogen ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Angiotensinogen in cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma. Reactivity is Human, the kit shows no significant cross-reactivity, and it can assay both native and recombinant human AGT.

Detection follows the quantitative sandwich ELISA technique on a microplate platform. A monoclonal antibody specific for human AGT is pre-coated onto the microplate; standard, samples and an HRP-linked detect antibody specific for AGT are pipetted into the wells, and AGT present is bound by the immobilized antibody and the detect antibody during incubation. After washing, a substrate solution is added and colour develops in proportion to the amount of AGT bound in the initial step. The colour development is stopped and the intensity of the colour is measured. Detection type is colorimetric.

Reported sensitivity is 19.93 pg/ml and the assay range is 312.50 - 20000 pg/ml. The kit should be stored at +4°C and not used past its expiration date.
