Human Angiotensin III ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Angiotensin III in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate, in which Angiotensin III in samples or standards competes with immobilized Angiotensin III antigen for binding sites on a Biotinylated Anti-Angiotensin III Antibody. Detection relies on an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow colour measured at 450 nm; colour intensity is inversely proportional to Angiotensin III concentration.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <2.77 pg/ml and a standard range of 7.81–500 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Recovery was assessed across sample types, with averages of 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81–101%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, intended for storage at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
