Human Angiotensin II Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Angiotensin II Type 2 Receptor in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The workflow uses a pre-coated microplate together with a biotinylated anti-Angiotensin II Type 2 Receptor antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate; the catalysed product changes to yellow after addition of stop solution and is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with target concentration calculated from a standard curve. The assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml, and the protocol is completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Sample recovery has been characterised in serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%, range 81–100%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80–89%). Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
