Human Angiotensin II Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Angiotensin II Type 1 Receptor in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with a colourimetric detection method read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The complete assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Quantitative performance specifications include a standard curve range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.055 ng/ml. Average recovery has been demonstrated in serum (91%), EDTA plasma (90%) and heparin plasma (84%) across the tested sample series.

The procedure uses an antibody specific for Angiotensin II Type 1 Receptor pre-coated onto the plate, with bound target detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Angiotensin II Type 1 Receptor Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, then visualised with TMB substrate.
