Human Angiomotin ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Angiomotin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. A 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Angiomotin, supplied as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where Angiomotin is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Angiomotin Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualize the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the Angiomotin concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.112 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%, average 84%), with corresponding dilution linearity data at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the three sample types. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
