Human Aminoacylase 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies a sandwich ELISA kit designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Aminoacylase 1 (ACY-1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The test uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for ACY-1; standards and samples are added, captured ACY-1 is detected with a biotinylated anti-ACY-1 antibody followed by HRP-avidin, and the reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product read at 450 nm.

Configured for human reactivity, the colourimetric sandwich assay covers a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.057 ng/ml and an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery across five replicates averaged 91% (range 80–102%) in serum, 90% (range 81–100%) in EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80–89%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 gave respective ranges of 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97% for serum; 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108% for EDTA plasma; and 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91% for heparin plasma.
