Human Amiloride Sensitive Sodium Channel Subunit Beta ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SCNN1B (Amiloride Sensitive Sodium Channel Subunit Beta) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

Employing the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, the assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and runs in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection is colourimetric, read at 450 nm on a microplate reader, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product after addition of acidic stop solution. Reported sensitivity is 0.107 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date. Reported average recoveries in spiked samples are 91% for serum (range 83–100%), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 90–98%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 89–102%), with dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 generally remaining within acceptable ranges.
