Human Amelogenin, X-Linked ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Amelogenin, X-Linked (AMG) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

It is supplied as a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique with a Biotinylated Anti-AMG Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and the absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is less than 0.057 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Sample recovery data reported for n=5 include serum 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity results across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions are also provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
