Human Alpha-Endorphin ELISA Kit

This competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human alpha Endorphin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids.

The kit employs a competitive enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated microplate platform. Alpha Endorphin present in samples or standards competes with immobilized antigen for binding sites on a Biotinylated Anti-alpha Endorphin Antibody. An HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate are used for detection, with absorbance measured at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The complete assay time is 2h 30m.

The product range covers 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 4.45 pg/ml. Reported recovery ranges are 80%-102% for serum, 81%-100% for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% for heparin plasma.
