Human Alpha-2-Plasmin Inhibitor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Alpha 2 Plasmin Inhibitor in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed. The reported assay range is 12.5–800 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 4.3 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery performance has been characterised in serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%, range 81–100%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80–89%). Dilutional linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
