Human Alpha-1-Acid Glycoprotein ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human alpha 1 Acid Glycoprotein (AGP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate format with a capture antibody specific for alpha 1 Acid Glycoprotein/AGP, paired with a biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a colour change measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans a detection range of 3.12–200 ng/ml, with a reported sensitivity of 1.27 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery performance has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 ratios across the same sample types. The complete assay protocol requires approximately 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
