Human Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) manufactured for Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Iba1 (also known as Allograft Inflammatory Factor 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a biotinylated anti-Iba1 detection antibody followed by HRP-avidin conjugate. The TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader with the Iba1 concentration calculated against a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit has a measurement range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <12.5 pg/ml. Reported spike-and-recovery values include serum (n=5, range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%–89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity reported for the same sample types at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions. Components comprise a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
