Human Alkaline Phosphatase, Placental ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Placental Alkaline Phosphatase (PLAP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The microplate-based immunoassay uses a biotinylated anti-PLAP detection antibody together with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative product range is 12.5-800 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.1 pg/ml, and the assay is completed in 4h 30m. Reported recovery averages 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, n=5), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is documented at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 sample dilutions for each matrix. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
