Human Alkaline Phosphatase, Liver/Bone/Kidney ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Alkaline Phosphatase, Tissue Non-Specific in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with standards and samples added to wells pre-coated with a specific capture antibody. Captured analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, Tissue Non-Specific antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Stated assay performance includes a sensitivity of <36 pg/ml and an assay range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recoveries in spiked samples were 91% in serum (n=5, 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, 80–89%). Dilution linearity was evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with recoveries across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma ranging from 74% to 108%. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

The kit is reactive with human samples and is supplied for use in sandwich ELISA applications.
