From Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human ALDH1A1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The format uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-ALDH1A1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate developed for colorimetric readout at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.236 U/L and the assay range is 0.625-40 U/L, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer concentrate, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
