Human Agrin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Agrin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Agrin, and bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-Agrin antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, read colorimetrically at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is less than 14.6 pg/ml, with a working range of 31.2 to 2000 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%, n=5). Linearity upon serial dilution from 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated in serum (87–91% to 92–97%), EDTA plasma (90–105% to 79–108%) and heparin plasma (84–95% to 89–91%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit is suitable for serum, plasma and tissue homogenates.
