Human Advanced Glycosylation End Product Specific Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human RAGE (Advanced Glycosylation End Product Specific Receptor). The kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an immobilised RAGE-specific antibody, a biotinylated anti-RAGE detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with a TMB substrate read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is 0.058 ng/ml, with a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery ranges for undiluted samples are 80–102% for serum (average 91%), 81–100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). Components are stored at +4°C or –20°C, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
