Human Adiponectin Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA configured for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Adiponectin Receptor 2 / ADIPOR2 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids, supplied under the Antibodies.com brand. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for ADIPOR2; standards and test samples are added, captured analyte is bound by a Biotinylated Anti-ADIPOR2 Antibody, and detection is carried out with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a yellow product after addition of acidic stop solution, which is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader; the concentration of ADIPOR2 in each sample is calculated against the supplied standard curve.

The stated product range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.24 ng/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 h 30 min on the pre-coated microplate (12 × 8-well strips). Recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma spans 80–102 %, 81–101 % and 80–89 % respectively (n=5), with dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 falling across the 74–108 % band within the same matrices. The kit comprises lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
