Human Adiponectin Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human ADIPOR1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. Distributed by Antibodies.com, the kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate to capture ADIPOR1 from standards and test samples. Following incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-ADIPOR1 antibody binds the captured target, and an HRP-avidin conjugate is then added. TMB substrate is used to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of ADIPOR1 captured in each well, and the concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.25 ng/ml and a working range of 0.781-50 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Recovery performance averaged 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-101%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
