Human Adiponectin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Adiponectin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The kit employs biotinylated anti-Adiponectin antibody with HRP-avidin detection and is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. TMB substrate produces a blue product visualised at 450 nm, with colour intensity proportional to Adiponectin concentration read against a standard curve.

The assay reports a range of 1.56-100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.65 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery validation yielded 80-102% (mean 91%) for serum, 81-100% (mean 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80-89% (mean 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Dilution linearity was demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit is intended for in vitro use only and should not be used past its expiration date.
