Human Adipocyte Plasma Membrane Associated Protein ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human adipocyte plasma membrane associated protein (APMAP) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for APMAP, paired with a biotinylated anti-APMAP detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used for colour development, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.066 ng/ml and a standard curve range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Spiking recovery (n=5) averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Linearity was demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
