Human Adenylyl Cyclase Associated Protein 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Adenylyl Cyclase Associated Protein 2 (CAP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for CAP2. Standards and samples are added to the wells, which are then washed and incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-CAP2 Antibody. After addition of an HRP-Avidin conjugate and further washing, TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and CAP2 concentration is calculated from a standard curve.

The kit has a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/ml, a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.

In spike-and-recovery testing, serum (n=5) yielded 80–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was assessed for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
