Human Adenylate Cyclase 2, Brain ELISA Kit

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for ADCY2 that is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, and bound ADCY2 is detected using a biotinylated anti-ADCY2 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit has an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a reported sensitivity of <0.119 ng/ml, with detection carried out colorimetrically on a microplate reader. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Validation data in the product literature report recovery ranges of 80%–102% for serum (n=5, average 91%), 81%–100% for EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%) and 80%–89% for heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%), along with dilutional linearity data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for all three sample matrices.
