Human Adenosine Deaminase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Human Adenosine Deaminase (ADA) ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro measurement of human ADA in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an anti-ADA capture antibody and takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes to complete.

Standards and samples are added to the wells, where ADA binds to the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-ADA detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then applied, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader, and ADA concentration is calculated by comparison with a standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of 0.63 ng/ml and a measurable range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
