Description

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Adenosine A2b Receptor (ADORA2B) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) on which a capture antibody specific for Adenosine A2b Receptor/ADORA2B is immobilised. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-ADORA2B detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with the absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is defined by an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.061 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 83-100%, n=5), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 90-98%, n=5) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 90-99%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is reported as 90-99%, 82-108%, 82-96% and 92-103% for serum; 84-105%, 88-94%, 89-107% and 72-106% for EDTA plasma; and 89-92%, 88-108%, 84-102% and 90-98% for heparin plasma.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
