Human Adenosine A2a Receptor ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Adenosine Receptor A2a in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with colourmetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Detection employs a biotinylated anti-Adenosine Receptor A2a antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to analyte concentration.

Sensitivity is <0.060 ng/ml with a measuring range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Spiked recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5) averaged 91%, 94% and 94% respectively, with individual ranges of 83%-100%, 90%-98% and 90%-99%. Linearity upon dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16: Serum 90-99%, 82-108%, 82-96%, 92-103%; EDTA Plasma 84-105%, 88-94%, 89-107%, 72-106%; Heparin Plasma 89-92%, 88-108%, 84-102%, 90-98%.
