Human Acyloxyacyl Hydrolase ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Acyloxyacyl Hydrolase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique.

Standards and test samples are added to wells coated with an antibody specific for Acyloxyacyl Hydrolase, followed by sequential incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Acyloxyacyl Hydrolase Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The HRP enzymatic reaction is visualised using TMB substrate solution, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration of Acyloxyacyl Hydrolase is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The assay covers a product range of 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
