Human Actin Beta ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human beta Actin in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The pre-coated 96-well microplate, arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, is coated with a capture antibody specific for beta Actin. Following addition of standards and samples, a biotinylated anti-beta Actin detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate are applied sequentially, and bound analyte is visualised with TMB substrate. The reaction yields a yellow product whose intensity is directly proportional to the captured beta Actin; the concentration is calculated from the absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers a product range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a stated sensitivity of 0.63 ng/ml, and the complete protocol runs in 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery of analyte has been reported in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and Heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
