Human Aconitase 1 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides this sandwich ELISA for the quantitative measurement of human Aconitase 1 (ACO1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format with a biotinylated detection antibody and TMB substrate, producing a colorimetric end-point read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Standard curve-based quantification is performed against supplied lyophilized standards.

Reported performance includes an assay sensitivity of <0.115 ng/ml and a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery values across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples average between 84% and 91%, and dilution linearity has been characterised from 1:2 through 1:16 across the same matrices. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated on the item labels.

The assay principle relies on a capture antibody pre-coated onto the plate, with bound analyte detected by a biotinylated anti-ACO1 antibody followed by an HRP–avidin conjugate. The colour development reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution, and the resulting absorbance in each well is proportional to the amount of ACO1 captured.
