Human Acid Phosphatase 2, Lysosomal ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Acid Phosphatase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

Wells are pre-coated with antibody specific for Acid Phosphatase. Standards and samples are incubated in the wells, then a biotinylated anti-Acid Phosphatase antibody is added, followed by HRP-avidin conjugate. After washing, TMB substrate is added; catalysis produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The assay covers 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m.

Sample recovery (n=5) was validated at serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (90%) and heparin plasma 80%–89% (84%). Dilution linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum recoveries spanning 74%–107%, EDTA plasma 79%–108% and heparin plasma 82%–105%. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed and must not be used past the stated expiration date.
