Human Absent In Melanoma 2 ELISA Kit

Sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human AIM2 (Absent In Melanoma 2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips); standards and samples are added to the wells where AIM2 is captured by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-AIM2 detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed using TMB substrate, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Sensitivity is <0.056 ng/ml with a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. In spiked recovery studies (n=5), recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%), and dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
