Human Abl Interactor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Abi-1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a specific antibody pre-coated onto a microplate, with standards and samples added to the wells. Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Abi-1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate are added in sequence. A TMB substrate solution produces a colour change that is proportional to the amount of Abi-1 captured, and the concentration is calculated by reading the optical density at 450nm in a microplate reader against a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer's data sheet, the assay sensitivity is <0.055 ng/ml and the working range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Reported recovery values are 80%-102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80%-89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Linear dilution data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions are also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, Wash Buffer (30X concentrate), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
