Human 7-Dehydrocholesterol Reductase ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human 7-Dehydrocholesterol Reductase (DHCR7) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-DHCR7 detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with a colourimetric endpoint read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. In validation recovery testing (n=5), the kit delivered averages of 91% (range 80–102%) in serum, 90% (range 81–100%) in EDTA plasma, and 84% (range 80–89%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across the same sample types, spanning 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma, and 82–105% for heparin plasma.
