Human 5'-Nucleotidase, Ecto ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human CD73 (5'-Nucleotidase, Ecto) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-CD73 detection antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

Manufacturer-reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.66 ng/ml and a standard curve range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Average sample recovery values provided in the product insert are 83–100% for serum (n=5, mean 91%), 90–99% for EDTA plasma (n=5, mean 94%), and 91–101% for heparin plasma (n=5, mean 96%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the product is for research use only — not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Required materials not supplied include a microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance at 450 nm ± 10 nm, multichannel and single-channel pipettes with sterile tips, a 37°C incubator, deionized or distilled water, and absorbent paper towels. The TMB substrate is light-sensitive, and the stop solution is an acid that should be handled with appropriate protective equipment.
