Human 5-Hydroxytryptamine Receptor 2A ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com provides a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human 5HT2A Receptor. The kit is reactive with human samples and is suitable for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics include an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/ml, with quantitative colourmetric detection on a pre-coated microplate. The total assay time is 4h 30m, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Recovery was evaluated across n=5 samples per matrix, with values of 83%-100% (average 91%) for serum, 90%-103% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 90%-99% (average 94%) for heparin plasma.

Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum ranges of 90-99%, 82-108%, 82-96% and 92-103%; EDTA plasma ranges of 84-105%, 88-94%, 89-107% and 72-106%; and heparin plasma ranges of 89-92%, 88-108%, 84-102% and 90-98%.
