Human 2',5'-Oligoadenylate Synthetase Like Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human OASL in serum, plasma, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for OASL; standards and samples are added and the captured target is detected using a biotinylated anti-OASL antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. OASL concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <6.2 pg/ml, a quantitative range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery values fall within 80-102% for serum, 81-100% for EDTA plasma and 80-89% for heparin plasma (n=5 each).
